About Our Design

The Miramar, is a complex of 4 residences in a traditional village on a hill overlooking the sea. The main building is a historical building, which served as a school and subsequently a police station.

In the past 100 years, the complex was converted into a compact B&B and our client’s aim was to restore as much of the original character of the historical building while providing for modern amenities and design in the newer parts of the development.

A play on materials and colors, traditional stone, metalworks, wood, terracotta and a playful color template. All, in an attempt to touch gingerly on all historical elements to preserve and highlight, and design bold elements in modern lines for everyday living.
